§1 General provisions

The Internet store [hereinafter referred to as the “Shop”] conducts wholesale and retail sales of MAC kitchen knives via the Internet, on the basis of these Regulations [hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”].

The Regulations are an integral part of the sales contract concluded with the Client.

The condition of concluding a sales contract is the acceptance of the Regulations by the Client.

The prices given in the Store are gross prices (including VAT).

Goods available in the Store are free from physical and legal defects.

§2 Orders

Orders can be placed in the following way:

Through the form available on the Store’s website.

By e-mail to the address available on the Store’s website.

By phone to the numbers intended for placing orders, available on the Store’s website in the Contact section.

The condition for the execution of an order is the provision by the Customer of data allowing verification of the Customer and the recipient of the goods. The Store confirms acceptance of the order by e-mail or telephone. The Store has the right to refuse to accept an order, limit the method of payment or demand prepayment if the order raises justified doubts as to the authenticity and reliability of the data provided or the method of payment.

The parties are bound by the information contained on the Store’s website with the purchased goods at the moment of placing an order, in particular: the price, characteristics of the goods, its features, elements included in the set, date and method of delivery.

The information on the Store’s website does not constitute an offer within the meaning of the Civil Code. A customer placing an order makes an offer to purchase a specific product. The conclusion of the contract of sale occurs at the moment of confirmation of the Order by the Customer by clicking on the confirmation link in the e-mail sent to the Customer by the Store.

§3 Offered delivery and payment methods

The Product is delivered within the European Union. Other countries and methods of delivery are realized after individual agreements.

Delivery of the Product to the Customer is chargeable, unless the Sales Agreement states otherwise. Costs of delivery of the Product are indicated to the Customer on the pages of the Online Store in the course of placing an Order, including the moment of expressing by the Customer the will to be bound by the Sales Agreement.

Personal collection of the Product by the Customer is free of charge.

The Customer may use the following methods of delivery or collection of the ordered Product:

Courier delivery, courier delivery, COD delivery,

Personal collection available at the address of the commercial office in Warsaw.

The customer may use the following payment methods:

Cash payment on delivery.

Cash on delivery payment payable by courier.

§4 Shipment of goods

The store sends the ordered goods via InPost and DHL shipping companies or after prior appointment of personal collection by the customer at the company headquarters.

The shipments are covered by insurance up to the amount of the order.

In case of payment other than cash on delivery, the shipping period is extended by the period between placing an order and the date of crediting the amount due to the Store’s bank account.

§5 Complaints

If the goods are not in conformity with the contract, the Customer should send back to the Store the advertised goods together with a description of the non-compliance.

We do not accept COD or shipments sent without prior confirmation of receipt.

If the realization of a justified complaint is connected with sending a new product to the Customer or removing the inconsistencies, the delivery costs shall be borne by the Store.

Individual settings of the Client’s computer and monitor causing erroneous or distorted display of information about the goods (e.g. colors), cannot be the basis for a complaint.

Complaints will be considered only upon presentation of a document confirming the purchase (receipt, invoice). The knife submitted to the complaint will be sent to the manufacturer and subjected to tests. Time to consider the complaint 90 days / included transport time to and from Japan. Knife found to be defective will be replaced with a new one.

§6 Right of withdrawal

Based on the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights. The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract.

The right to withdraw from the contract is effective if the Customer submits, within 14 days of receipt of goods, a statement of withdrawal from the contract, in electronic form, to an e-mail or written address.

The Customer shall return the goods to the Store within 14 days from submitting the statement of withdrawal.

Returned goods may not be used or bear traces of use.

Within 7 days of receiving the goods and checking them, the Store shall return the amount paid to the Customer. The Customer should indicate the bank account number to which the returned amount is to be transferred. In case of payment by credit card, the refund will be made to the card.

The Customer is not entitled to withdraw in cases specified in the Act referred to in paragraph 1 above (quotation of the Act: where the subject of the service is an item that is not manufactured, produced according to the consumer’s specifications or serving to satisfy his individual needs), in particular when carrying out individual orders, this applies to a series of knives that are not in continuous sale.

§7 Privacy protection

By placing an order, the Customer agrees to the processing of his/her personal data solely for the purpose of order execution.

The Customer may also give a separate consent to receive advertising and promotional materials from the Store, including a commercial bulletin.

The Customer has the right to access and correct his or her personal data, to demand that their processing be discontinued and to object to their processing.

§8 Intellectual property

It is forbidden to use any materials published on the Store’s website (including photographs and descriptions of goods) without the Store’s written consent.

§9 Warranty and service of goods

The products have a manufacturer’s, importer’s or seller’s warranty, valid in Poland. Before sending the product back to the complaint, please contact our company to obtain the complaint number.

Warranty: MAC brand knives are covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty covers material and construction defects of the knife. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and misuse. The user must follow the rules of maintenance and sharpening.

§10 Instructions for use

Do not chop any hard materials with knives (e.g. bones – the chopper is used for this purpose)

Do not saw (e.g. bones, frozen food)

Do not use for opening cans, caps etc.

Knives must not hit hard material (porcelain stoneware, etc. the knife must be protected against falls, e.g. on the floor) – the high hardness of steel makes the knife brittle and may crack

Do not wash the knives in the dishwasher (unless the model has other information in the manual)

Use a ceramic whetstone or a high quality wheeled sharpener for sharpening

Do not sharpen against metal

Do not bend the blade

NOTE: The knives are very sharp. Special care is recommended when handling them.

Knives should be kept out of reach of children for safety reasons.

§11

Entry into force and amendments to the Regulations

The Regulations come into force on the day of publication on the Store’s website.

These Regulations may be amended.

Changes to the Regulations shall be published on the Store’s website.

Changes to the Rules come into force at the moment of their publication on the Store’s website.
